“Then…and now”

Renovation works progress well in Bakonya.

During renovation the old stone walls have been uncovered and preserved in their original beauty, and brick flooring was chosen to match the rustic walls. The creative team can soon take over the site and begin the installation of the elements of an interactive exhibition focusing on the natural values of the Mecsek Mountains. Beside the exhibition room there is also an activity area in the eastern wing building, which is spacious enough to receive school groups or to host community events.

Sanitary blocks and other service rooms will be located in the western wing, where although there’s still a lot to do, the week by week progress of work is very impressive.
