The enthusiastic team of Mecsek Greenways invites everyone for a spring walk across the countryside around Pécs.
The 18-km-long walk will take you to little hidden charming villages along the route of Abaliget-Husztót-Kovácsszénája-Orfű. In Kovácsszénája you can have a little breather while tasting yummy cookies made by a local “jam guy”, Tamás Nyírő and you’ll also be invited for a cup of tea. The walk then goes by picturesque lakes as it reaches Orfu.
Departure from Pécs, bus terminal: 7:30
Arrival in Abaliget: 8:30
Walk starts from here: 8:45
Departure back to Pécs from Orfu-Tekeres bus stop: 14:50
