On the day of the Summer Solstice, the Sun reaches its northern-most position, as seen from the Earth. At that moment, its zenith does not move north or south as during most other days of the year, but it stands still at the Tropic of Cancer. Midsummer celebrations on or around the Summer Solstice are common In many parts of Europe, with traditions often involving the lighting of bonfires. Keeping the tradition alive a bonfire will be lit on the small square in front of the Tettye Limetuff Cave. Join us and be part of this magical night!


The Pintér-Garden Arboretum awaits visitors with extended opening hours  and discount tickets.

The Tettye Limetuff Cave organizes special tours in the cave and offers discount tickets this evening.


Guided walks in the cave leave at 20.00, 21.00, 22.00, 23.00 o’clock
