The walk takes you on an inspirational journey through the woods of Majs, where the most ordinary herbs and their use in folk medicine will be introduced. Besides the tradition, folklore, collection, preparation and modern use of these herbs you can learn about edible wild plants the woods has to offer. The first part of the walk goes through an oakwood then along Borza stream a forest path takes you back to the starting point.
Start: Majs, football field, 11.00 o’clock
Length: 4-5 kms, 4-5 hours
